Our captain was super.. Very informative but not overwhelming us with too much information. This was the best way to see the beautiful shades of what this lake has to offer. The blues, teals, turquoise, greens, and emerald colors were stunning... It was a very very very windy day for our trip, but it was still worth it. Nice to be able to experience a wonder like this....

Thank izuj

We boarded the Tahoe Queen River Boat at the end of Ski Run Blvd. in Lake Tahoe at about 5;30 for the dinner cruise around the lake. While there were quite a few of us on board, it wasn't crowded, yet the service on the prime rib dinner buffet was not the best I've seen. The prime rib was delicious with perfectly mixed horseradish. The potatoes had a good flavor, the shrimp pasta was very good and the seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection.
The one-man-band did a good job keeping the music going. He played the guitar and knew the lyrics to about two hours worth of songs. Most of the songs were easy to dance to and customers showed their appreciation by their generous amounts they left in the tip jar.
The captain was knowledgeable of the area and made frequent comments describing the history of various places we passed.

We took the M.S. Dixie II across the lake and into Emerald Bay. It's an absolutely wonderful way to experience Lake Tahoe and all its scenic majesty. You will not be disappointed.

A wonderful experience on a large paddle boat vessel. Trip is a few hours and a commentator tells yuo about the depth, visibility, surrounding mountains, etc. It is so relaxing as well as so beautiful an area.. Food and drinks are available

Truly enjoyed this 2 and a half hour Tahoe Queen River Cruise. Nice overview of the lake with occasional commentary (not obtrusive). Saw all the lake highlights with the spectacular Emerald Bay. 3 decks (we sat on top). Bar and food for purchase. Crew were friendly and helpful. Great introduction to the Lake and its wonders.
