Nicely redone rooms and grounds. They even arranged for wonderful weather! A glass of champagne upon our arrival as well. All in all a lovely weekend stay.Very accommodating staff, new beds..very comfy. Great views from the 9th floor...north facing. Lovely fire pit adjacent to the pool area. Walking trails easily accessible from the hotel prperty.

We stayed at the resort for two nights over the weekend of May 3. We stayed on the club level and enjoyed the continental breakfast, drinks, snacks, desserts and hor d'oeuvres available most of the day. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. We walked the lake front, soaked in the hot tub, visited the spa, and ate at the Lone Eagle Grille. This resort has every amenity for a relaxing stay. A local recommended this place to me when I expressed my frustration at finding a nice place to stay at Lake Tahoe. There are a lot of casinos in South Lake Tahoe, a lot of run down motels around the lake, but I didn't see anyplace that compared to the Hyatt. It was quiet, comfortable, but with plenty of activities and dining options within walking distance. Service was friendly and very accommodating.

We just got back from a week at this beautiful hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful - from Tom at the front desk to Lisa and Kelly, who greeted us each morning at breakfast. We loved the food, the setting and the amenities. Our rooms were comfortable and clean - lots of nice details that made us feel very special. Thank you, thank you!

Friendly Staff, Cozy Hotel, Clean Beautiful Rooms, Nice Pool Area, but we do have a complaint, there is this roll that is supposed to block noise and light from outside, well it didn't work, we had some noisy people next room and we did not have a good night (just one day though) but hotel is pretty nice and staff is friendly, we walked around the beach which is pretty nice. Had a great time! You should rent a car though, otherwise you'll be too far to walk to town or attractions.

Beautiful location- excellent service- very helpful and courteous staff --Hotel had three restaurants with fresh fruits, vegetables. Wait staff were terrific.

Was able to "walk around" the lake on their property across the street from the hotel - just beautiful surroundings. Loved the fire pits at night!!!

Room Tip: We had a room that looked out on the pool and recreational area - had a room with two queens that we...

The Hyatt Incline village is a very well taken care of property. The room was clean, tidy, and the amenities were up to date. Flat screen TVs, iHome alarm clocks, etc. The staff was helpful with questions regarding directions to the mountain, dining recommendations, and up to date weather information as a storm was bearing down on the mountain the day I was scheduled to depart. The pool was heated which was great since after a long day of skiing you could use a nice soak. All in all a good property worth a stay if you're in Tahoe. Only downside is it is about 25 minutes from other parts of Tahoe with more action.

I attended a conference here for three days. I found the experience to be an outstanding one. I have stayed here a number of time over the years and always felt the place was a little run down by Hyatt standards. The newly renovated rooms are outstanding. I three wonderful nights sleep on the incredibly comfortable bed. The floors are hardwood and carpet. The bathroom is one of the nicest I have experienced. The shower, sink and floor are all marble. It is really luxurous. The shower is large and has the curved shower bar that I appreciate so much. The room is outfitted with a large flat screen tv with lots of available channels. My room looked out onto the pool area, which was a great view. The food at the Sierra Cafe was great and the service was outstanding, from the greeting by the valets to the housekeeping staff. Of course, the beach area on the lake is a great amenity, perfect for nice walks. There was a wedding on the beach and it looked like such a nice venue. The Eagles Nest Grill is always outstanding and the views of the lake are picture perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms in the tower often have good views of the lake. The cottages on the lake are great if you can...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
A spectacular setting on Lake Tahoe’s north shore with 500 feet of private, lakefront beach. Surrounded by towering pines and mountain greenery; 35 miles to Reno/Tahoe Int’l Airport; 40 miles to South Lake Tahoe Airport. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino was recreated in the classic style of a 1920s alpine grand lodge. Exterior renovations of river rock and shingles complement the natural environment with colors echoing the tradition and sense of history of the original homes built in the Tahoe area. Extensive river rock landscaping and two outdoor fireplaces add to the guests' sense of arrival at the "Old Tahoe-Lodge" style entrance. The resort's Grand Lobby boasts crafted stonework, creating a cozy setting amid the warmth of an oversized double-sided fireplace, rich leather chairs and high-beam ceilings. The 421 guestrooms, including 24 lakeside cottages, have been decorated with natural pine, distressed wood, and leather furnishings, reflecting the setting with autumn colors of moss, brick red and wheat. Included in our Lake Tahoe resort's $60 million transformation was the addition of the Spa Terrace, a new three-story wing adjacent to the main 12-story hotel. Offering 138 luxury guestrooms with views of the Sierra Nevada skyline, the addition provides visitors with private balconies and breathtaking lake views. The Spa Terrace replaces the resort's former Aspen Terrace and overlooks the resort's new swimming pools. ... more   less
