The elk is fantastic! Consider getting the Golden eagle beverage. The Baked Tahoe is sinful! The views are exceptional and the beach is a fantastic place to sit and soak up the views.

We went for a special occasion Started out on the patio for beverages and moved to our table for dinner. Very good and spectacular views of Lake Tahoe!

Been here for both dinner and just drinks. Sometimes a bit crowded, but a lovely setting. In the summer, you can sit outside next to the fire-pits. Food is good. Recommended this place just to sit back and enjoy the music and food in the evenings, particularly in the summer.

To my knowledge this is the only restaurant right on the lake with a beach you can walk on. It is beautifully decorated with an incredible view looking south on beautiful Lake Tahoe. The menu is extensive. We ordered the crispy calamari (huge portion) and the salmon. The service was helpful in every way and the quality of the good was good and served hot on a hot plate. The desserts were also good. In the summer you can sit outside but reserve early as it is often full in the summer. You can also have a drink before lunch on their pier. In the evening the bar is a great place with music plus view and a fireplace when it's cold

Every one makes mistakes but the way they apologize for it takes service to a level we've never experienced before. My wife ordered a 10-oz filet with sautéed corn & I had wild halibut. The filet was a bit rare so they sent it back to cook to medium. While she was waiting they gave her a puréed potato soup ($10) which sparked words of praise. The filet came back medium as desired. I finished a very good halibut, took my pills with water then started on my lemonade which turned out to be iced tea. These were minor mistakes & I told the waitress we enjoyed dinner anyway. Well the manager surprised us by offering us complimentary desserts. We had the Summer Berries ($8) & enjoyed the Baked Tahoe ($22) so much that we were forced to finish it. We later learned the desserts were for the late seating which we were willing to give them a pass on due to their very busy group schedule on a Sat night. Looking back it's a good thing they didn't want to apologize for anything else because we were well done.
