I haven't missed a season in at least the last 10 years. It's always a stellar performance and the setting is unmatched. Seems like each year they make improvements - from the food court to pre-setting chairs - it's always a great time!

The hubby and I have been going to this event for over 10 years and we love it! We started in the upper sand seats and have slowly worked our way down to the reserved chairs. We don't go out on very many date nights and we splurge on this one occasion every year. It's nice to have the wait staff take your dessert and drink orders for intermission and you can stretch out a bit in the chairs (that now have seat cushions). A fun experience and beautiful weather... we look forward to going every year! Would not recommend taking children under 8.... tough to sit still that long probably. The food options are okay... can't complain - we have eaten there for the past several years. Enjoy!

Fantastic performance. A bit cool as the sun sets but just dig your bare feet into the sand and wear long sleeves. It's well worth the watch.

The setting is absolutely amazing, making it worth it to go even if you don't understand Shakespeare! If you are a Shakespeare fan, like me, then it's nirvana! Beautiful view of the lake while watching a great play :) Highly recommended! This year, the lower section chairs are hard plastic patio chairs, so I'd choose the higher section with beach chairs or spring for the luxurious adirondacks with cushions.
