Top flight entertainment in a unique setting. Shakespeare beneath the stars, enjoyed from an adirondack chair (that comes with a wait staff). What more could a person want?

A lovely venue indeed and has continued to expand and improve. I also went once when one could get tickets for free performances for your school age children which was a nice community effort on their part!

They say, if you want to have a good experience, go where the locals go! I am a long time local of the Tahoe area and never miss this performance each summer. Every year is a different show and the cast is amazing! You will laugh, clap and be entertained the entire time. The backdrop of Lake Tahoe makes for the perfect experience. I like to go on a full moon night. I also try to go late in the season as the weather can be a little chilly at night toward the beginning. (this is an outdoor event).

They have some delicious food for sale at the event, but I usually pack my own picnic basket full of gourmet goodies and my favorite bottle of wine and linger over my snacks throughout the performance.

There are intermissions, but the lines at the bathrooms are long so I always try to go before the show so I don't have to miss the performance in order to beat the long lines. Also, traffic after the show is a little congested, so don't be in any hurry.

It's a great date night, or good time with friends. It's also very appropriate for families with older kids. Babies and toddlers would not be a good idea. It can be lengthy and they would get bored. I highly recommend this event!
