Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel
Ranked #19 of 25 Hotels in Henderson
Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

If you are staying here for a special occasion-don't. While most of the staff were nice, the hotel/casino is pretty disappointing. For the record I paid $78 a night (not including all the fees and taxes).

First it all smells like cheap perfume and cigarettes; even the non smoking room are permeated. There is no escaping the smell. Even if you are not here for the casino (as we were) you still have to walk through the casino to check into the hotel or use the elevators, forcing you to endure the walk through the stench. The casino itself is very sad looking. Cheap ugly carpet, dark walls, fake trees and plants and terrible lighting.

The rooms are very plain and dated. There was no information booklets in the room helping you navigate the hotel/casino. I don't believe there is room service, and if there was, there was nothing to tell you how it order. Shower was very small with old fixtures, two soaps, a shampoo and a lotion is provided, nothing more. They were clean though.

Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel for any reason. We only stayed two nights, and i wanted to check out the first night. I am not happy I spent hard earned money on the room.

Stopped by on way back from Hoover Dam to gamble. Truly a locals hangout with a friendly vibe. Loose slots and allowed you to play longer. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We enjoyed it!

The price was great, $44.00 including the resort fee. Room was nice and clean. Casino was very nice. A good variety of slots. We got discounts at the buffet, with good choices for vegetarians. All together a nice place to stay.

If you plan on staying here, just be aware that your pet will cost you more to stay at Fiesta Henderson then it will cost you for a two day stay there. A $50.00 nonrefundable pet fee, unbelievable!!!!!!!!

Around 10 minutes South East of the Strip where I-215 and US-93/US-95 meet the Fiesta Henderson sits as a lone hotel built far away from the busy Las Vegas Strip. The Fiesta was probably built quite a few decades ago and it seems to have been stuck in that same decade. But this is not necessarily bad. It seems to have a certain charm with its not so busy front desk and its laid back approach to everything. We stayed in a room facing the busy freeway but there was not a sound to be heard in the room. We could even see The Strip from our room. We used Fiesta as a short stop-over on our way onward, but if you're in town for some quietness, gambling or a few drinks the Fiesta is not bad at all. If you want to avoid the crowds at The Strip this could be your choice.

Not luxurious but adequate. Location and property seemed to be safe. Employees very friendly and helpful. Room clean enough. No problems. Very good stay for the price. Again, if you want The Hilton, you should book the Hilton and pay their price. For my money, this place was OK.

I am not sure what was upgrade about my room? It was dingy and smelly. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls; the furniture look like it came from that 70's show. The AC only work half the time and the walls are thin. I had to complain about the people next door being so loud at 3 am and it took security almost 45 minutes to respond. Honestly your place isn't that big and that great of a hotel. I really don't know if charging me a $100 deposit for a room that doesn't even meet Motel 6 standards. I WILL never stay here again. The place is a mess the only redeeming quality this place has is the steakhouse.

Room Tip: Don't stay here the AC only works for 2 hours.
