“A Very small museum. Might be fun for boys who love cars.”

Nevada Vintage Race Car and Aviation Musuem

This teensy one-room museum was right off sunset. I was taken aback by its setting - in an industrial park - but the gentleman at the desk allowed us in with no admission. I took my two little boys, ages 2&3, and we looked around for about 20 minutes. There were some interesting plaques which i didnt have time to read since i had my boys with me. There were lots of models and 8 or 10 actual winning racecars. It was pretty cool. I tried to take them outside to check out the cockpit of an airplane they had outside but they had lost the key (!) still, it was free, and close to home, so that was kinda fun

What a rare find in this city. The day we visited, the owner Ed was in there and he gave us an awesome history of racing and of his lifes' achievements. He is such an interesting person. The cars and memoribilia on display is so interesting. There is a war plane on display outiside also. Take the time to visit this special musuem and relive racings' past.
