“Perfect location for R&R and fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014 via mobile

stayed here while my husband was at a corporate conference at GVR. While he was working I took advantage of all the amazing amenities. Complete luxury all around from the rooms to the spa. I spent most if my time at the gym and spa area where there's a pool, beautiful cabanas and hot tub. FYI, All spa/gym amenities are complimentary as long as you are a guest. Treatments are additional.Once you check in at the spa/gym desk you will be guided downstairs and greeted with a key to a locker and slippers. Inside the locker will contain your bathrobe. No need to bring anything with you all toiletries are provided, (from Gillette razors to upscale hair products, toothbrushes etc....) Snacks, fruit, juices and bottled water are complimentary as well. You can also order drinks or a meal. The property is absolutely breathtaking and elegant. Dining was fantastic, shopping was incredible and the bars on site were top notch. I really enjoyed the Lobby Bar, Sip Martini and Pour. The service was spectacular from check in to housekeeping. The location was perfect too. Far enough from the strip but close enough. (20 min cab ride and $50 each way to The Wynn) I'm sad to check out tomorrow but look forward to coming back. Only negative, our room didn't have a view. Then again, I really didn't spend much time in our room.

I stayed here for 4 days, the resort is about 20 mins from the strip, great if you want to experience Vegas and also get away from all the noise and typical athmospere. The resort is great, the pool area is one of their best features, the food was really good as well, they have 2 towers, the newly renovated and the (west) which is the older version, it is a notable difference between the two, they have adult pool section for guests 21 and over which is great if you want to get away from the kids on the main pool. I would def go back next time im in Vegas.

I am a Vegas local and have stayed at many of the properties out here and this is one of my absolute favorites. I stayed here during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with my family (just for fun) and felt like I was on a mini vacation. The property is in an area with many shops and restaurants, away from the chaos on the strip. However, the strip is only a 10 minute drive if you plan to go. This hotel rooms are separated from the casino so it is pleasant to get off the elevator and not be surrounded by slot machines. It only takes a short walk in a hallway from the lobby to get to the casino.
The rooms and bathrooms are also huge with lots of closet space, a separate tub and shower, a desk area, and a vanity area. This is a perfect hotel for families as well because there is a movie theater and arcade in the casino. While the resort fee was a bit steep, I took full advantage of it and used my internet service, fitness center, and got my shoes shined. I would've used the pool if it wasn't so cold because the pool area is amazing.
Lastly, the staff at this hotel is the friendliest I have ever encountered an any hotel I have ever stayed in. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff walking around were extremely friendly and helpful with directions. This is the best Stations Casinos property in the Las Vegas area and I would definitely stay here again!

Only rooms avaiable where smoking rooms. Yes I am a smoker but don't like smoking rooms. Room was down the longest hall way ever took about 15 min to get to room from check in desk. Hot water for shower took about 30 to 45 minutes to get hot and even then at its hotest was only a luke warm. Room was very nice actually surprised me on how nice the room was. Big soaking tub and huge walk in shower. When checking oit relized forgot my ipad in room and had another hotel worker go get it for me. As long as o had a closer room whould absolutely stay again.

Overall we were pleased with the place & room. Yes, it's a little confusing to find your way around, but we had it licked after one day. I don't like the high resort fee and on top of that having to pay $14.99 to access the internet. No likey!

While not a “local” as the Las Vegas residents like to call themselves, I lived in LA for enough years and had traveled to Sin City enough times to be an honoree, for at least a few days while escaping a very snowy northeast December right before Christmas. So I stayed at Green Valley Ranch and opted to avoid The Strip.

Really glad that I did. For those of you who don’t know, just down the 215 Freeway about 10-15 minutes in Henderson, there lies beautiful hills, outdoor malls and Green Valley Ranch (GVR)…a huge casino and resort with all the amenities that you can ask for. The rooms are 4 star (I paid $52 on Hotwire), comfy beds, large bathrooms, bathrobes, Spanish style bathroom with elegant ceiling. It was a great value for a 4 day stay
.
There is gaming, restaurants (24 hour spot, small food court, buffet, room service), a movie theatre and a spa. Yes there’s a resort fee, with tax it’s close to $29 a night, hey it’s still technically Vegas. And keeping with Vegas it’s just a very big property, a bit of a maze to get around so don’t be like me and wear heels constantly…or book a foot massage!

Lastly there’s a gorgeous outdoor mall around the whole place so don’t forget to squeeze in some time to shop and to visit the 5th floor of the parking garage at night to take in a view of The Strip in the distance!

I've stayed there a few times. I love it's elegance. The crowd in the casino tends to be a little older than the kids that congregate on the Strip, so a little quieter. I've won a few times, lost a couple of times. I love the pool and the rooms are large. The food in the casino is a little above average and the other restaurants are very good. It's really easy to get downtown for the shows. I will definitely stay there again, but it is pricey. Once you gamble there, the offers will start coming for free stays and reduced rates.
