This hotel was a disappointment. The cleanliness was not good and the carpet was very black stains, the bath tub was all black like the never clean, we suffer because the air conditioning was not cooling enough. The staff was not very nice and some of the casino workers were rude we had breakfast on the cafe food was very old I always stay on the Venetian hotel for less rate then the room charge on this casino we did not have a choice this time “But my advice to you is never stay on this casino

Sunset Station is one of many casinos ran under the "Station" name. This one is in a good part of town (Henderson) and is mid-range for the Station brand. Good selection of gaming and places to eat.

We stopped off just to check it out, gamble awhile, then went to the buffet. Thought it was reasonably priced and a wide variety of choices. We would certainly eat here again and recommend it highly.

Good restaurants, multi-plex theater, live music, great buffet & no Strip crowds! It's also surrounded by tons of shopping & eateries.

I've been visiting Sunset Station for over ten years, because my mother lives in Henderson. If you're looking for a relaxed time in the Vegas area, this is for you! Sunset Station caters to the "locals" who live in the area...not the wild weekenders who inhabit the Strip, which is about 15 miles away. Sunset Station is a beautiful casino, spacious, with the lovely ceilings that resemble those on the Strip, clouds and soft lighting. The casino area is huge! The restaurants are top-notch, the Buffet is terrific, the Cafe is good for everyday fare. There is a Starbucks onsite, too. There's a 72 lane bowling alley, shows with surprisingly famous entertainers, and a cinema. Across the street is a world-class shopping mall, and there are dozens of restaurants nearby. Plenty of free parking.

People who live outside the Strip will always tell you that the odds are better in Henderson, because local people come often and are the primary customers. It's an easy taxi trip to get to the Strip, but I bet you will be content to get away from the frenzy and learn to love the way that people who actually live near Las Vegas spend their time and money. Give it a try!!
