Stayed here because it was close to McCarron airport, and on the way to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon, our 1st two stops on a 9 day vacation. Easy to get to and park. Got in late (11 PM), but front desk staff was there for check in. Room was spacious, modern and clean, a little different layout than usual, including an L-shaped sofa. Breakfast was very good and offered wide variety of options. Really can't go wrong with a stay here.

Stayed on the 3rd floor of this property. Very convenient location; near great shopping, restaurants, services, and Green Valley Rancho Resort/Casino. Hotel was very clean; front desk staff were always very helpful & professional. Breakfast offerings were good; enjoyed the convenience of free hot breakfast. Would stay at this property again! Hallways need to be air-conditioned; too hot in the hallways (not sure if A/C was having technical issues or this is an everyday normalcy). Indoor pool needs MUCH better ventilation; chlorine was burning our eyes & we could not use the indoor pool and had to use the pool across the parking lot at adjacent Marriott property. Need more toasters during peak breakfast hours. A/C unit inside room needs to be more quiet & needs more options to adjust the temperature & strength of the A/C fan; the persons in the bed closest to A/C unit were freezing! In-room refrigerator needs a freezer compartment; inconvenient to take items downstairs to front-desk & have staff place items in their office/breakroom refrigerator. Need a sliding door or some type of separation between bathroom sink area and sleeping area (especially to minimize noise and lighting when having to get up in the middle of the night to use the sink or restroom). Did not use the laundry room, but did take a peek....laundry room needs to be renovated and cleaned more often.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The hotel was nice but can't say the same about its employees. The lady that worked in the breakfast dining area was HORRIBLE! It was like she was there to chase people out of the dining area. Both days we did have breakfast there she went around telling people that breakfast was done at 9:30 and it was still only 9 o'clock. We thought the first day maybe she was just having a bad day because it was ridiculously hot...but NO she was the same the next day too! On top of the grouchy lady...the strawberries they served had mold on them, there was a broken toaster (which left only 1 working toaster), the juice machine was broken as well & the 3 trash cans that were there were all overflowing with trash. There is a indoor pool adjacent to the gym but would not recommend. As soon as you enter the gym area your eyes are already starting to burn from all the chlorine. Everyone who went swimming came out of the pool coughing. I did ask the front dest if there was something wrong with the pool because of the strong chlorine smell and was told nothing was but there was an outdoor pool at the property next door that we could use. We took them up on the offer and it was a 100% better. We used the entrance that was closest to the elevators and in the afternoon the door handles were dangerously hot to the touch. My kids were scared to open the doors. Aside from all the cons of this hotel, I was happy with our room. The only thing that was wrong was our shower drain was backing up & we would have to shower with a pool of water at our feet. The location newer and was great with a lot of good places to eat nearby.

I had a hard time figuring out how to rate this SpringHill given that our experience was so mixed. Here's the breakdown:

Pros:
1. Beautifully maintained property. Grounds were well kept and parking was ample. Lobby area and breakfast area were very nicely appointed.
2. Room was great and the sound insulation was really good. The AC, unlike some other hotels was not overly noisy. The last hotel we were at had an AC unit that was noisy enough that we had to turn it off. This was pretty normal.
3. Beds were terrific, although I recognize that mattresses are pretty subjective.
4. Breakfast was good - pretty standard but none-the-less good and hearty. The Sunday morning we were there, they had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and breads, fruit, dairy products, and dry cereals. Coffee, tea, and juices as well.
5. Customer Service was great. We were greeted warmly and they took care of check-in very quickly. More on this part later

Now, some background before we get to the cons. We were only overnighting in Henderson as we were helping some friends relocation from Henderson to their new home in SoCal. We came into town on Saturday afternoon, checked in, and rushed straight over to our friends house. One of our moving party had already secured a UHaul and was just backing it into the driveway and we spent about four hours loading the majority of the furniture and stuff that day. The plan was to check out Sunday morning at 7:00 AM and finish packing and then leave before Noon. So, this was to simply be an overnight.

Cons:
1. We had reserved a room with two queen beds. We received a room with a single king and a sofa sleeper. Overall, nothing to complain about as our boys can use the sofa sleeper and the room did accommodate four. It was just one of those "attention to detail" things.
2. The room, although able to accommodate four, does not have towels for four (three). Again, minor irritation.
3. The room was being paid for by my friend who had his credit card on file and left instructions with the front desk staff to charge both rooms to his card. They either didn't pay attention or forgot right after he told them. Instead, they charged my card.

Overall, nothing terrible, just some minor "attention to detail" items that could make a stay much more pleasant. We'll not be heading back to Henderson now that our friends have moved but, even with the oddities, this is a good hotel to stay at and we'd use it again.

Room Tip: I prefer upper rooms on the east side. The afternoon sun in Henderson during summer can really warm up the room fast.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable for the entire family. We did have to call a couple times for sheets to use on the pull-out. Breakfast was the best yet on our trip. I'm still dreaming about those scones - they were delicious! I really wish we weren't just passing though and could have stayed longer.
