“Ghost town adventures”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

GREAT and only place to eat in Goldfield NV. We had a wonderful lunch here. It is an older place with a nice face lift. The owners are wonderful (very friendly) and seems like locals really like the place too. They also have gifts you can buy (t-shirts, magnets, coffee cups and a few little books). Great place to stop for a nice meal,

“Great little diner”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

While passing through Goldfield in our Motor home we decided to spend the night. Not knowing what was in town I looked on trip adviser and found the Dinky Diner and it was with in walking distance so we went there for breakfast. The Diner was clean, food was fresh and tasty and the owners daughter was very friendly sharing some of the local history with us while we waited for our breakfast.

“The Only Place to Eat in Goldfield?”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We never knew this place existed until the gal at the Sante Motel recommended it for breakfast. Large, hearty portions. Many old photos of Goldfield in its heyday. Great place for a meal in this lonely stretch of NV.

“i love the Dinky Diner”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

While traveling from Phoenix to Lake Tahoe I stopped in for breakfast with my family. it was an unexpected pleasure, the service was great the food was great and the locals were really nice.
The cook/owner; (Linda) told us to have a safe trip and to stop back....So we did! on our way home we stopped in for lunch, everyone enjoyed their meal (my burger was just like Mom use to make) We met Linda's Daughter Kerry (not sure of the spelling) She gave us an incredible amount of Goldfield history and suggested other places to check out. We were limited on time but spent the next two hours in town. it was an awesome experience and I'm glad we went back.
I wanted to give them both a hug before we left.

“Great diner!”

I personally love old diners, and this one fits that description well. Good hearty food and good service. I wish there was a dinky diner closer to home!
