Dave and his family run a fantastic place at the ABVI in Fallon. Everything is clean, the staff treat you like a member of the family (except they don't expect you to do dishes after the complimentary continental breakfast!).

The rooms aren't huge, but they're cheap, quiet, spotless, well-kept and have the amenities one can count on for a business stay. The Microfridge/microwave combo are a huge plus, as is the storage space and desk area. The air conditioners are in good shape (they don't rattle--another huge plus), and the windows and walls are thick enough to keep out noise and neighbors. The "Parle-G" cookies from India were an in-room treat I had never had before--I ended up asking for extras!

Close to Safeway, Maine Street, banking and gas stations--all very easy for a long day working in the desert.

Comfortable, tidy, very nicely priced, great staff, great location in town. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: If you're a late sleeper, get a room on the west side.

I was moving to Fallon and needed a place to stay until I got my permanent housing. I travel a lot and have stayed at everything from five star to roach motels in the middle of nowhere. Usually you are rolling the dice with a place that charges less than $100, but This place is cleaner than some $500 places i've been to. The rooms are spotless and fresh, the sheets are clean, the bathroom is nice and sparkly. I think they even high dust on a daily basis. Definitely get an outstanding from the most discerning eye.

Dave and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. complimentary water and package of biscuits are a nice touch and much appreciated. If you need something I'm sure Dave would bend over backwards to help you out.

It is an older building and the rooms are smallish, but the rooms don't feel tired or worn down. Don't expect Flat screen TV's and whirlpool tubs, but you cannot beat this value.

Good water pressure in the shower, Quiet rooms, Good AC, wireless internet, all necessities provided, super clean, excellent staff, unbeatable value.

I found the staff of this hotel to be kind and accommodating, especially since I had requested special non-scented cleaning. The room was immaculate and very quiet. The breakfast was minimal (fruit would be nice) and more than one chair in the room would also be nice. But the beds and pillows were perfect. A great host here.

Room Tip: No elevator.

I couldn't decide whether to do four or five starts on this. The only complaint that I had was that the room decor was ugly. But for the price it was still an excellent value. The deciding factor was how well I slept; that is the whole point, amiright? Ugly room, comfy bed, sink is IN the bathroom (yay), very helpful front desk and best of all it was CLEAN. And they cleaned it every day; none of that half-done because you're staying several nights stuff.

Room Tip: I was in room 219 and slept like a baby. I never heard any neighbor noise and the first couple of n...

We decided to make a reservation based on previous reviews we had read. On our way back from Las Vegas it was a good place to stop for the night. We showed up around 1AM and the lobby was unlocked and the manager came in shortly to check us in. We were surprised with the extra amenities of bottled water and crackers in the room. The beds were comfortable and there was even a window seat. There was in room coffee and a refrigerator. The breakfast was basic but what I would expect for the very reasonable price. If you are looking for a good deal this is it.

You get a little nervous at some of these small hotels...will it be clean...will bed be comfortable...will bathroom facilities all work...bugs??? All aspects were fine....and a bonus was that the towels were like new and they had a nice little amenities basket with things you would normally find in a much more expensive hotel (bottled water, extra toothbrush, razor, etc). At check in, the owner offered us a soft drink and was very hospitable.

Negative...I am a light sleeper and still could hear road noise...but I travel with ear plugs.

Bottom line...not a bunch of choices in Fallon, NV...but this was a good one.

This was a nice clean place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and had many amenities. There was bottled water and cookies in the room. There was also a well stocked basket with toiletries. The continental breakfast was what you would expect for a budget motel. If you have a voracious appetite plan on finding a Denny's further down the road. Other than that this place was wonderful and a very comfortable place to stay.
