People coming from big West Coast cities won't be wowed by the food here, assuming my meal was representative. I had hot and sour soup and kung pao chicken. Both were satisfactory but neither was memorable. The chicken was served in a portion so enormous that two people could stuff themselves on it. It was somewhat heavy and cloying, but not bad. The hot and sour soup was light on my favorite ingredients (I'm not sure it had any cloud ears) but again quite tolerable. The white rice didn't have quite the right consistency but it got close. The service was attentive and the prices exceedingly reasonable.
