Arrived here after a long day of traveling through Colorado and Utah. Arrived at the hotel well ahead of schedule and prior to check in time but the desk clerk was gracious enough to get me into a room. I was disappointed to learn that my room was right near the pool which was full of kids and I expected the worse. Imagine my suprise in learning that the rooms here are actually well insulated so noises in the hotel courtyard were almost non-existent. The rooms/hotel are older but at least everything was clean. There are various slot machines located in the courtyard if one is interested in some gambling entertainment. Breakfast in the a.m. is a simple continental affair and I had no complaints about the food. If I were passing through Ely again I'd stay here again, no questions asked.

I would never stay here again. Although there aren't that many options in Ely, there have to be some better than this. I don't expect perfection but I expect clean. This motel was not clean. Yuck, it was gross. I couldn't wait to leave. The two front desk women, were snotty and acted like they were doing a favor checking us in. Good thing we didn't have our children with us, we would have left for sure. There have to be better options in town, find them. Or maybe some investor will build a new place, Ely sure could use it.

Based on earlier reviews we had high hopes for this motel (hotel?).

At best it was an average motel. Breakfast was your standard continental fare and if you weren't there early enough and missed out then too bad. Rooms were okay with all the standard conveniences and a fridge that worked well.

Although Ely dosn t have a lot to offer if you are crossing Nevada to go to the Grand Canyon this is a great place to stop. The layout of the hotel is strange but excellent. The pool is inside and the rooms are set in a ring around the outside of the inside of the hotel. With me still? In the centre are the slots, cafe/resturant and the bar. The staff were very helpful and the slots were loose. We will be going through Ely again and will stay at the Copper Queen again.

I've stayed in many hotels across the country but this Ramada has to be one of the best!!! It's not large but it is amazing how they fit everything inside so you don't have to step outside all day. Open your hotel room door and you see the built-in swimming pool. Next to that are slot machines, a restaurant, a bar and even an elevator for the 2 floors that the Inn has to offer. The rooms are decent and clean, nothing fancy. If I travel across country again, it definitely would be on my list of places to spend the night.
