“Good local concert venue!”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

We came here to see the Dead Winter Carpenters and Yarn on 5/25. They only had a few booth tickets available and you'd have to share with strangers unless you bought out the whole booth. Otherwise it was standing room only. Despite that, it was a great show in a beautiful room. Full service bar was also available inside the venue. The casino may look a bit dated on the exterior, but was modernized, clean and fun on the inside.

“Steak house is expensive”
Reviewed May 3, 2012

Beautiful decor but very expensive. They need to wise up and have dinner special, or 2 for 1 , especially in off season. There are too many great restaurants in TAHOE at lesser prices, for this place to be so pricey. Used to eat here often, but not anymore.

“OK Casino but still has a 'State Line' location feel”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

Dropped in while touring North Shore. Casino seemed adequate but location is right on highway. Crystal Bay was the original N. Shore casino center (before Incline etc) and was born due to being on the Nevada side of the Calif state line. What used to be a nice small epicenter of casinos has pretty much deteriorated to depressing. Biltmore is worse and Cal Neva should not even be open. Not a walk around area and can't imagine staying here for longer that an afternoon or evening of gambling (does have a Sports Book and is closest gambling to Squaw / Alpine)!

“Slick and friendly”
Reviewed February 3, 2012

A relatively quiet, classy place to play and catch some good dancing music. Sports book and bar is perfect. i like the fact that they honor the history of the place, but have done all the right upgrades to make it first class.

“missed lunch at the Bistro but casino was pleasant”
Reviewed January 27, 2012

too bad the bistro was closed because we would have spent more time in here. The casino was fun and the waitress was awesome. They charged for plain pop while playing games, though. Guess they don't support designated driver. This is a historic place so be sure to look at the photos on the walls as you come in from the parking garage. Really takes you back to another era. Love this area and will go back.
