“Not impressed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

To start with, it was crowded so we ended up out on the patio, which meant we had smokers all around us, not mentioned to us until after we had sat down and ordered. The meals are very expensive (about $16), in my opinion not a good value. Everything was fixed different than most places, the "baked beans" were a small cup of various types of beans, the pulled pork was served as diced up chunks with a lot of fat, sweet potato fries were greasy. Service was slow and disorganized. Yes the decor was interesting, but not worth the price for the meal. Would not go back.

“Interesting place--average food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

We were leaving the old downtown area and passed Red's Old 395 Grill and decided to stop. It was about 4:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, not really dinner time and way past lunch. The only place they had for us to sit without a wait was the bar. That was fine but I thought it was odd since there appeared to be many empty tables.

The decor is very interesting--many wagons of different types hanging from the ceiling! Unlike anything I have seen before. Lots of other rustic signs and things to look at while you are waiting.

I ordered a half slab of ribs which was on special. It came with a stuffed potato. I asked for a baked potato, was told that it came with a stuffed potato, so I said ok. The plate came with a baked potato. Odd again. Ribs were meaty and appeared to have a nice smoke ring. Good flavor. DH had a hamburger and fries and he said it was good.

“Very rustic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2013

The place is worth the visit if for no other reason but to look at the many, many relics on display. The place is an amazing collection of "old". Good food and plenty of beers to choose from. Depending on which sign you read, somewhere around 50-70 different brews on tap. Very nice atmosphere for casual dining and a unique patio. A must visit if in the area.
