Went there for a birthday dinner. Not a romantic place, just your basic BBQ joint. Dinners come with choice of soup or salad bar. The salad bar had about twenty basic items and was very clean. The ribs were tender and tasty with choice of sauces. The server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the sauces or the menu in general. There are chicken and fish choices also on the menu.

We go here often for lunch. Great daily lunch specials. The barbeque is good and you have choices of mild, med and hot sauce on the table so use as much as you want. Their burgers are also good. Small but adequate salad bar.

I ordered the Texas 2-Step, a platter of two meats, soup or salad bar, house bread and potato. I selected the pulled pork and beef brisket based upon the waiter's recommendation.. The brisket was tender and tasty, an excellant choice. The pulled pork was dull in appearance and lifeless from either sitting all day in a warming bin or being prepared weeks earlier. If that was not enough they served it swimming in bbq sauce. The corn bread square was so dry I used it soak up the pulled pork bbq sauce. The booths are made of wood to give it a Texas roadhouse feel. They are cute but uncomfortable because the backs are at a perfect 90 degrees from hard unpadded bench seat. Bring a pillow from home to sit on. Finally the waiter, a tall friendly and attentive chap who unfortunately for all of us suffered from serious bodily odor which blessed our table each time he walked by or served us food and drink. Not on my list of places to visit a second time.
