We stopped on our way to Omaha Beach because of great marketing I guess. The restaurant located on the way to the D Day beaches, next to the road and announces it's position with bright yellow signs along the highway. It was was about 1/2 full but it holds a lot of people. It looks a little like a wine tasting room with a large open space and lots of tables. There is outdoor seating but you look out onto a dirt parking lot. In addition they have a bar with three beers on tap. The very helpful server didn't speak much English so we weren't' sure what we ordered but we hadn't had a bad meal in the first two weeks in France so we weren't concerned. I ended up with "Persillade de Crevettes", a delicious plate of shrimp and my wife with "Marmite Du Pecheur", a tureen of fish in a delicious cheese sauce. However, we made the mistake of agreeing to two large desserts, the "Crepe Gourmande." They were delicious and obviously a house specialty but over $10 each. Not a great value at 45E for two. However, we enjoyed our meal. and had a good time.
