A nice hotel is hard to come by in western Nebraska. I took a chance and booked this hotel as it was a good stopping place on my way to the Black Hills of South Dakota. This hotel is in the top 25% of all Hampton Inns I have stayed at around the country. You will notice a difference when you walk into the lobby. The breakfast area is especially nice.
The rooms are quite large. The beds are quite comfortable. The parking is convenient and well lit. The hotel is located on the main drag.
The breakfast is exceptional for a Hampton Inn. They had a nice array of fruit and cereals. They also had several hot served foods including omelets.
The only negative was not the hotel's fault - There was a screaming kid at 6:30 am running up and down the hall. This lasted a good ten minutes. The kid sounded like a three year old. Evidently the kid and his parents went down to have breakfast. They returned about 20 minutes later and once again, we had a screaming holy terror running up and down the hall. I find this very disrespectful on the part of the parents. It is disrespectful to those of us who arrived late at night with the intention of sleeping in.More
