We stayed here for one night on our way to Washington state, and the room was fine - clean & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and a real treat with more than the usual complimentary fare. One minor problem with our stay was that our room was on the second floor, accessible only by an outside flight-and-a-half of stairs, making carrying a couple of suitcases a bit difficult. A disabled person would not have been able to negotiate this, as there was no elevator, and we saw several people straining to get their heavy luggage up and down. Other than this issue (which really should be addressed), it was a good stay, and we had no problems at all.

The photographer was an artist, because this place is nothing like the website. The pool needs paint and repairs--the railing into the pool is wobbly, very much a hazard. Our room door would not lock, and the front staff was quite rude when we tried to fix the problem. The shower was lame, and the air conditioner dripped into the room all over the floor. I'm not making any of this up--DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

We stopped at this hotel while traveling across the country. What a pleasant surprise! We had a King Suite which was a large as a New York City apartment. And very clean. The restaurant was even more of a surprise. We usually avoid hotel restaurants but we were too tired to go anywhere. We had an excellent meal of some of the best tasting fish and pasta. And at a very reasonable price too.The
restaurant was packed with locals on a Monday night. They were all eating steak. We also enjoyed the pool, whirlpool and exercise room here, all very clean and in good working order. To top it off, the breakfast actually had real scrambled eggs and bacon! This was more like a Clarion than a Quality Inn.

Wonderful suite at this hotel. Very spacious, clean etc. Kitchenette even a two burner top stove, which is rare, and I'm sure very handy when travelling with children. Two televisions, seperate bedroom. A real bonus though was the on-site restaurant! When hauling a trailer, it is always nice to have a restaurant on site, and of course they provide room service. Food by the way was great Price was not out of line either, You get what you pay for!

Great price for a hotel with a pool and a very nice hot breakfast all for one price. It also has a bar and restaurant and is close to many others. A minute from several antique shops and is right off of I 80. Good for familys and singles.

I stayed at this Quality Inn, July 31, 2005. I had my 16 - 10 - 6 yr old sons as well. We did not plan on staying in North Platte, it was a stop along the I-80 system. This property was a former Holiday Inn 'holidome' site, for anyone who recalls from the mid 70-80's. It has been obviously remodeled, and does offer a marginal military discount. the room price of $70+ was a bit high, I had thought for the area, but we were tired and I needed a place I would feel safe with the boys. Our room was in the back, overlooking surprising a CORN FIELD..LOL Desk person asked if view, or prox to pool more important. With my boys, pool. The pool is small, an given the warm temps outside, it was not too refreshing. My oldest enjoyed the weight room that was adj to the pool. As another poster mentioned, the comp breakfast, is impressive. Best comp breakfast I have encounter on our trip (7,621 miles). All and all, this lodging met our needs and we were comfortable.

The continental breakfast was really deluxe. The pool was not impressive and was small and the fitness room only had 3 machines. The room (suite) was clean and big, but the air conditioner dripped. The beds were comfy.
