My wife and I spent two nights at Whispering Pines in the Victorian suite. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden. The food was fantastic too. All around great B&B!

Room Tip: Victorian suite was nice. Private entrance, downstairs, no traffic, no noise.

I stayed with a friend for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time! Very peaceful and relaxing, food was wonderful! Definitely a great place to get away and I will definitely return!!! Rooms are large, well furnished, with private baths. Jeanna is awesome and it was fun to meet the other guests and visit!

Needed a quick getaway couple of days to just relax and "be" with family. Jeanna has a created a wonderful hideaway in beautiful Nebraska City. There is plenty to do around town - history, shopping, hiking. And..it is simply wonderful to lay in the hammock she's got in the yard and watch the clouds go by. The Roost is a few steps away from the main house, complete with lots of birds and a chirping frog or two in the small yard pond she's installed. Breakfast is delightful! Jeanna had no problem with my dietary restrictions and is a delightful hostess. Just the "right" amount of attention.

My wife and I spent one night at this Bed & Breakfast and had a very enjoyable stay. As my wife said - it was very charming and had lots of character. The hostess was very nice and we enjoyed visiting not only with her, but also the other guests. The breakfast was very good. We would recommend this B & B to others.

My hubby and I spent two nights in the downstairs Arbor Room. The room was very nice and comfortable. It had a king size bed along with a day bed for additional guests if necessary. My husband is finishing up his college degree so he had his laptop computer with him. The room had a nice size desk in it so he could work on his homework during our stay. There was also a very nice flat screen TV and a cozy electric fireplace in the room. The fireplace can run with or without heat which is very nice so it can be used year round. The grounds were beautiful since everything has been blooming ahead of schedule this year. The lilacs were stunning and smelled incredible! An addition was added on to the B & B 's deck some months back so we got to sit out and enjoy the stars in the beautiful weather. It was nice getting to relax in the hot tub too. We ordered dinner from Parker's Smokehouse one night and El Portal Mexican Restaurant the other night. These are two of our favorite restaurants in town. We just couldn't pass up eating our meals at the B & B since the weather was so nice. Whispering Pines is a very nice and relaxing place and Jeanna is an amazing hostess. Her breakfasts were delicious as usual! We will definitely be back again sometime soon.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are amazing! The Barn is nice if you want to be away from the main house and enjoy more private time. The downstairs Victoria's Room is very nice if you want to be closer to the hot tub and you want a private entrance. The Victoria's Room can also connect with the Arbor Room. That is nice if you have multiple people and want a common connection between two rooms. The Traveler's Room and the Rose Room are both located upstairs. The Rose Room is very romantic!
