This Holiday Inn offers everything which you can expect from the chain, in a very convenient downtown Lincoln location. The rooms are about average for a hotel of this price and location. The beds are comfortable, rooms on the higher floors offer pleasant views of the city, and the elevators are fast.

As is the case at the other downtown hotels, parking is less than ideal. The Holiday Inn's ramp is directly adjacent to the hotel, which is more convenient than the Marriott's ramp, but the small and cramped spaces were difficult to fit into.

You cannot beat the Haymarket location for its offering of downtown restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I could get a bargain rate.

We flew in from St Louis Labor Day weekend for the football game. It was my wife's first visit to Lincoln and we were both impressed with the attentive staff especially Jen at the front desk who was very amiable. The overall value was outstanding considering hotel prices can be greatly inflated on football weekends but by doing an advance purchase we didn't pay much more than a motel out on the highway or airport. The location can't be beat. It's right in the Haymarket district with many great eating and drinking choices, the farmer's market on Saturday morning, and The Mill for great coffee and people watching. Plus, the hotel is within walking distance to the stadium so no parking hassles. The rooms were updated a year or so ago. I remember this hotel from back in the day when it was the Hilton. Bathrooms were a little small but the bed was very comfortable. We were on the North side on the 15th floor so we had a great view of the Haymarket and the stadium.

We chose this hotel for its location next to the historic district (never having been to Lincoln before). It was economic compared to the local Marriott chain hotels.
The receptionist was extremely helpful and informative about local restaurants and pointed out the Manager's Reception, free beer, wine and snacks, which was due any minute at 5 pm. After a long day on the road this was great. Local restaurants were varied and sensibly priced with a fair sprinkling of breweries - they like their beer in Lincoln. Rooms were fine and very well equipped, only criticism was the car park lift was out of order when we were there but probably not permanent.
Lincoln was a really fun place & we really enjoyed it.

We stayed here overnight on recent road trip. For the price we paid ($50 on priceline) I wasn't expecting much more than a decent bed to sleep in before hitting the road again. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the hotel. The rooms and lobby have clearly been recently remodeled, the fitness center and pool were great. The location in downtown Lincoln is great. Considering that I paid a 'Super 8" price, it was a terrific value and great stay.

I was here with my wife, daughter, and her husband and 10 year old Speed Skater. We were here for the National Speed Skating Contest. We were here for 3 nights beginning July 3. We asked for rooms on the west side and high up and we stayed on the 14th floor. That night there were incredible fireworks displays all around the area and you could see for miles. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Pershing Center and the hotel has a very efficient shuttle service in the area. It is adjacent to the Haymarket District and there are many restaurants in the area. It is just a few blocks from the Capitol and the University. The hotel has been renovated somewhat but it is an older property but is well maintained. The ice machine did not work on our floor, but there were plans to replace it after the holidays. The resident engineer was seen around the building while we were there and seemed to be very efficient. It would be an excellent choice for a stay in the downtown area near the museums and the Pershing Center venue. Although it is not mentioned in the ads they do have a guest laundry and it is very clean and comfortable.

We stayed in this hotel for UNL graduation May 2009. The location was great for getting to the University. There were also many restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Located right near farmer's market. Nice hotel, good value.

It's close to Hay Market and not far from U of Nebraska. Rooms, lobby and meeting rooms are nice, but parking ramp is a tight squeeze. Felt the staff worked hard to please. Enjoyed my stay there.
