I have been enjoying this place for years. I usually get carry out but dining in is great too. There is a small wine and beer list that is not extensive but gets the job done! The owner is always there which I appreciate. Spinach naan and lamb vindaloo are not to be missed. Best Indian joint in Nebraska, hands down. May not be as "cute" as The Oven, but the food is so much better!

so this place, it's fine, and out of the way of the Haymarket hubbub if that's what you're looking to avoid. They have a huge menu but the food isn't... memorable. It's just passable Indian. Service is always great here though.

We order three different kinds of curries to have back at the room and all were good in the taste. The palac paneer dish did not have enough cheese in it for my taste. The bread was pretty thick. Overall the food was very good and my three traveling companions who typically do not eat Indian food enjoyed it.

We've eaten at the other popular Indian spot and thought we'd give this one a try during this trip. We are glad we did. They feature some of the classics you can get at any standard Indian resto but also have other breads, chutneys, lassis, and mains not always seen elsewhere. Be sure to be clear about your spice level, as they tend to season toward the spicy! We found the service accommodating and the prices fair. There were many choices for the vegetarian diner.
