The Sunken Gardens are truly a treat for the eyes. The koi ponds are well tended and the flower display is different every year. This is a great place for a wedding (although traffic noise can be distracting), for a picnic lunch, or just when you need to take a minute or two to escape the concrete jungle. Something for everyone (leashed dogs are also welcome)!

We loved this unexpected treasure sitting unseemly on the edge of a main thoroughfare on the outskirts of Lincoln! The gardens are beautifully kept and planted with vibrant colours throughout and a wonderful pond in the centre. Seen from the higher elevations near the car park, the gardens really stunning and this is a great place to sit and reflect; a must see if visiting or just passing through Lincoln.

If you love flowers and enjoy being among them, look no further than the Sunken Gardens. Great place for just enjoying nature and also for taking photos.

The Sunken Gardens is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is well tended, with loads of flowers, quite a variety. Some Koi live in the two ponds. There is a reason so many weddings take place here.
