My husband and I were in Lincoln for the weekend and wanted to try a new pizza place. The Isle Pub & Pizza was described as a great place for fantastic pizza and beer so we decided to give it a try. We arrived at the address, but were unsure if it was the correct location because we didn't see a sign; hubby went in to check and asked if they had pizza, was told "yes, it's what we're known for". He should have clarified that. While the atmosphere was relaxing and "pub" like, we should have known disappointment was on the horizon when the server brought, not paper, but the red solo cup version of plates to our table. Apparently, their trademark topping is cream cheese which did give an interesting flavor to the pizza. Overall though, the pizza was nothing special, about like a Digorno pizza from the grocery store frozen pizza section, and way over priced ($26 for a medium pizza eaten off disposable plates & 2 cokes). The poor server was doing her best to wait on the entire place and play bar tender, too; it was only 3:30 in the afternoon so it wasn't crazy busy, but too much for one person. Definitely will NOT go back and would not recommend it.
