This Embassy is great... fairly new, friendly staff, nice rooms, nice restaurant and bar. All staff are very nice and very helpful. Only bad thing is it 20 min from downtown Omaha but it is a great central location between Omaha and Lincoln. Other nice restaurants nearby. Of course free breakfast and Happy Hour. Nice Pool - can swim laps or would be good for kids and Exercise room... this is one of my "go-to" hotels when I am in Omaha for business.

not a good value due to the charge for anything extra....internet, water, and a tiny coffee maker. The Hampton across the street is cheaper and a better value. We were not able to use the free drink passes due to our plans, so that was not any advantage

Great one night stay for this trip. Have stayed here many times before. The suites are sooo family friendly. Kiddos can stay in the living room area while parents get the bedroom! So nice to have the kitchen appliances too. Breakfast in the mornings are always amazing! One down point, the hallways are usually very noisy throughout the night.

I really liked the room everything was wonderful until I stepped on a left over ring from a pop bottle that was left behind from someone else...... Otherwise made to order breakfast was amazing. Lots of different choices besides the "normal" hotel breakfast! The cook was awsome!!!

This was rated to be a 4 plus star property so I booked it for my visit to surprise my daughter and Grandaughter. It was a disappointment from the check in. I was "given" the diamond welcome bag (2 waters, pretzels and a candy bag) even though my husband wasn't with me at check in. Coffee pot had used pod in it and had water in it that looked like it had been there awhile. Also I was in the front of the hotel and the curtains did not close all the way so the bright light shone in all night. The room was ok, towels frayed, yes frayed, threadbare and bedding was average. Kids running unsupervised, playing on elevators, knocking on the door at 1, 2 and 3 am and then taking off laughing. Restaurant, The Nines, had very little service, food over-cooked and the kids pizza was from a take out place. Tub had a broken drain so when you took a shower it would not drain, they fixed it by removing the drain plug, not much help. Sheets not changed when card was put on pillow, and I know they weren't changed because my Grandaughter had gotten some crayon marks on the sheets. Too many problems to count. Very disappointing and not worth the price, it was definitely a Knights Inn / Motel 6 kind of experience, not worth $169.00 per night.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel.

I was please with the room size and quality. Staff was great and place was huge. Lots of people but good space. They had a volleyball tournament going on with volleyball girls everywhere but it was large enough that the large crowds were never an issue.

This Embassy Suites property seems relatively new. It is directly attached to the La Vista Convention Center which would make it handy for anyone attending an event there. It has a good free breakfast, a restaurant, a gift shop, spacious lobby and a nice pool. The amenities are excellent. Our suite was comfortable and well-appointed. There was an ear-splitting New Year's Eve celebration going that prevented any attempt at sleep that night. It was in the lobby, in the hallways, in the elevators, and in the next-door rooms, with constant banging on walls, slamming of doors, etc. But, it was New Year's Eve; maybe this is common at every hotel? Even without New Year's Eve, however, our room was very noisy, especially for our son, who was attempting to sleep on the sofabed in the suite's living area. I would not stay at an Embassy Suites property again because of this. Even in the adjoining bedroom, hallway sounds could be heard. Being built around a center atrium makes for a beautiful setting, but avoid this if you're a light sleeper. I usually stay at Marriott properties; they will always honor a high floor or extra towel request, gratis. At Embassy Suites, every request seems to come with a separate fee. Because of that, and the noise level, we will continue to favor Marriott (or other) properties and will avoid Embassy Suites. This is a personal choice and I mention it to alert others who might be bothered by noise, or excessive extra fees.

Room Tip: Can't imagine there would be a good room here if you're a light sleeper. Every room opens o...
