We stayed here with a group of families here for the College World Series. The hotel is just outside of Omaha proper, and has great highway access. The suite was clean and spacious. The workout facility was nicer than expected - a few ellipticals and treadmills, free weights, plenty of room to do sit-ups, etc. The breakfast buffet was a convenience. The eggs in the buffet line were not very good. The omelette bar might have been worth the wait. Liked the evening happy hour, and we eventually migrated to the bar. There was nothing bad on the bar menu. Great food! Overall, this was a good choice for the area.

Room Tip: Rooms not facing the atrium are quiet. Avoid rooms by elevators.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The lobby and breakfast area are very well done and well kept. It was very relaxing to walk in and hear the water fountain after spending nine hours in the car.
The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms were also very quiet, we never heard anyone walking above us or t.v. from the neighboring rooms. I have a child who is a light sleeper so this is always a plus to find rooms that are quiet.
The pool was nice and large. Maybe a little on the chilly side but not bad. The hot tub was nice and large and seemed well maintained.
I didn't actually use the workout room but I did take a good look around. It was very new and well maintained.
The only things that could have been better were related to the food service. We went down to the nightly reception with a half hour left before they were to close. Drinks were plenitiful but the snacks were all but crumbs. This was a little disappointing. After the reception we headed to the restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic but the wait was rather long. There were very few people dining so I would have expected faster service.
Overall a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again.

I always love John Q Hammon hotels and this one was even better when I was upgraded to the Presidential suite for two nights.

This is a nice hotel with very helpful and courteous staff. The rooms are quite new and the appointments are good. It is next to the convention center in La Vista. A good place and a bit more updated than the typical Emabssy Suite.

I usually stay across the street at the Hamton, but since I was in town for a weekend of work, I upgraded. It's still a Hilton property so it's easy to get points and upgrades here. Had a hospitilty suite on the 5th floor. Great room! Thought there there was some sort of basketball tourney going on and the hotel was packed to the rafters with kids. Kids with out supervision it appeared. They were riding the elevators for fun etc. but by Sunday they were all gone. I will highly recommend this property. If you are here for a weekend I'd be sure to ask about the on goings of that weekend. Bar staff was great as well as front desk staff. I was told that Monday through thursday it's quite with business people who know how to be quite.

Sorry to be contrary, but our experience at this property was less than wonderful. The staff seemed consistently stressed. The "wristband" requirement for the evening reception was just strange. Nothing like a 19-year-old insisting that the wristband must be worn by a 60-year-old (not just held)--are they worried about Cabella shoppers stopping by for some free cheap wine? The at the reception couldn't wait to tell us that the wristband requirement would be "strictly enforced." I'd be glad to show ID or room key, like the thousands of other Embassy Suites.
