Very ordinary breakfast. Cheap frozen OJ. Pancakes were cold, but accompanying bacon and egg weren't ready with the rest of the meal. Santa Fe omelet was good, but "fried" potatoes were unseasoned and scarcely browned at all. Service was friendly.

I have eaten at the one in LaVista several times for breakfast and lunch. Good homemade food, large portions and good service. Never been disappointed.

The Summer Kitchen has moved to a new location.....but the food and the service is NOT new. Both are just as good as they always have been. Wonderful food....good service.....reasonable prices.

My husband and I enjoyed eating dinner at Summer Kitchen once again. I had their Fareway Potatoe Casserole and my husband had the Beef Roll Up. We both had muffins. We were making use of a Gift Certificate given to us for the Holidays. We always enjoy the food, service and environment.

Everything here was outstanding and worthy of an overall excellent rating-hostesses, quantity and variety of menu selections, food taste, service and value. Daily specials are worth a look and don't skip the muffins (cherry/almond and lemon poppy seed were great). When a parking lot is full and there's a wait, one can almost count on a great find...and this was one, for sure. Old fashioned feel with today's choices!
