Went with my family, its was interesting for young and old. Great exhibits of how the West was settled, from the first settlers to current day. Large enough to give you a real feel of how the West was settled, yet not so large to be bored.

Took two groups of grandkids to the Arch last summer and they all loved it. It tells the story of how the west was settled and the wagon trains going thru daily life. Very well worth the time.

I have hosted numerous Kearney visitors to the Archway. They rave about this unique structure and quality show telling frontier history in an exciting showcase that is fun for the whole family. Visitors live the experience in a short stop or find the details offering an in depth study to listen, read and learn. Highly recommended!!!!

Friends of ours recommended that we stop in Kearney, Nebraska to see the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument. The museum was thoroughly enjoyable-lots of great history and information presented very tastefully. We walked around the grounds and went into the mound hut, where a young man, entering college in the fall presented some interesting facts. He was quite knowledgeable and we were very impressed with his knowledge and delivery of the information; he was quite professional. I have recommended this attraction to others who will be traveling through Nebraska. It is also an interesting sight from the outside, but go inside-it's a great experience.
