Have just spent wonderful week at Bucks Farm, 11 of us in Blyth, Hogs & Harvest, 3 generations from 1-69yrs. We had everything we needed, more than in the usual standard for self-catering. We enjoyed using the facilities & land, feeding the animals & borrowing the bikes to cycle to several local villages. Our best outing was to take the footpath (carefully detailed on an A4 laminated sheet in the cottages) up around the back to the top field, a 20 minute walk, where we had a great time with picnic, kites, 'bulldog', 'stick-in-the mud' and other old-fashioned games. Thank you Ian & Jo.

Room Tip: If you're in Hogs, it's helpful if your party are also renting Harvest as some of their rooms are above yours. The fact that Hogs & Harvest can be joined together internally is a big bonus if you're staying with friends or family.

We have just arrived home from our lovely week-long stay at Bucks Farm. Our 2 1/2 year old son had a great time in the on-site pool and games room, and really enjoyed all the toys and play equipment at the cottages. We stayed in Swallows Rest and found the accommodation really nice, clean and the owners Ian and Jo looked after us all very well. It's not far to Southwold and Aldeburgh which are both lovely places for shopping and going on the beach (weather permitting!) We're booked to go back to Bucks Farm in October and we're looking forward to it already.

Room Tip: Swallows Rest has its own little garden and is detached from the other cottages. The size of your party will probably determine which cottage you choose but they all looked lovely.

My husband, 2 year old son and I have recently returned from a truly amazing stay at Bucks Farm. We stayed in the quaint Hogs corner and were even able to take the dog with us. The facilities both within the cottages and throughout the site are wonderful. The cottage has everything you need, including linen and towels etc. We were greeted with a gorgeous homemade cake on arrival which was very welcome! My son thoroughly enjoyed getting up each morning to feed the farm animals and is still talking about it a week later. Very safe environment and the hosts are very welcoming. They really have thought of everything to make your stay easier and even have a laundry should you require. Great local pubs in the area and plenty of things to do with little ones. We will definitely be returning.

We have just returned after spending a wonderful long weekend at Bucks Farm. We stayed in Blyth's View with our two girls (2 1/2 and 4) and couldn't fault one element of our stay. The cottage we stayed in was very nicely decorated and included everything we could need to be comfortable and cosy during our stay. It was spotlessly clean, as was the swimming pool and gym area. We were made to feel incredibly welcome.

It became very clear during our stay that Ian and Jo have put much thought into what people may need and want for a good holiday - and have then provided all of it. The games room was full of toys and games and the swimming pool was fabulous (with a toilet, shower, changing areas and even drying racks for your swimming things so you didn't have to bring everything over with you every time). There was even a laundry and small shop for buying gifts and goodies.

The morning animal feeds were a real highlight of the holiday for the girls (and us!) and we all loved getting to know the animals and searching for eggs. The arrival of two gorgeous lambs a few days before our stay made this even more special.

We have stayed in lots of self catering accomodation with similar facilities, but Bucks Farm truly is the best. Please do not be put off booking by the few negative comments made by previous holiday makers (which based on our stay, I am certain are a reflection of the people making the comments, rather than of Bucks Farm, Ian or Jo), or you will miss out on a real gem!

Called Jo @ Bucks farm late Monday to see if there was availability as we had been let down and she was more than willing to accommodate all 9 if us. The cottage was superb, with enough beds for everyone. The gym and swimming pool were also great aswel as the games room.
Everything is there what you want, clean towels, all the cooking utensils even home made cake which Jo had provided us with. I could of asked for anything more on the wkend and would recommend it to everyone!
