Spent one night only here but the hotel was on the south of the lake in a beautifull setting, buffet style food but overall very good, the rooms were comfortable with balcony, I would stay there again.

The holiday units at Maagan Eden (this is the official name of the place) are by far the best among all Kibbutz holiday villages along the Sea of Tiberias / Galilee.
There is a private beach at the location and a swimming pool.
The food is great and so is the staff.
You are not far from the baptismal site Yardenit, from the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Belvoir, Beit Shean and the Hamat Gader Spa centre. In spring time and autumn migrating birds pass here and if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time, this is a sight you'll never forget.
A great place to stay with kids, but quiet enough if you are without kids.

Room tip: If possible get a unit near the lobby

Rooms are comfortable, fridge and microwave are a big boon. The pool is large and fun, with a very large shallow area good for young kids who cannot swim. Private, tranquil beach. Also options to rent boats and surfboards.

This is our second time there, two families on a weekend vacation. The Hotel surroundings are beautiful with the Sea of Galilee in the background. Swimming pool is great, especially for kids. Rooms are comfortable and clean for the entire family. The kitchenette is minimalist – you have to bring your own utensils. Breakfast is a little disappointing comparing to the standard breakfast in Israeli hotels, and although it is served until 10:00 am, the staff starts to clear everything already at 09:30 making you feel rushed, but we are on vacation…

Room tip: By the pool at extra cost approx. 200 NIS but worth it.

Stayed here 3 nights with tour group. The little cottages are older but decent. We did see a roach in our bathroom one morning. There is a small kitchenette and two couches with beds and beds underneath. These were hard as a rock and since we had a 3rd person staying with us (teenager) we had to fight to get them to bring us another softer mattress to put on top which they finally did but with a lot of attitude. Meals were buffet style and pretty much the same each day. The views are nice and there is lots of grassy areas and a small beach. Not much around the immediate area to do in the evenings. Tiberias is about a 15 minute drive away. There is free internet access in lobby and some cottages if the signal reaches.
