We didn't even know this was here, and definitely didn't plan on stopping. We had just pulled off to get gas and the DH likes to explore. We had a great time! The museum was neat, had a great area for kids to play, although DS was not happy when we took him away from the tractor. The old town was really neat and pretty easy to get around with the stroller. It was really hot though so not many people were there to talk about the buildings. Will probably stop by again when the weather is better to spend more time in each place.

The museum offers a great deal. We buy old toys from the general store for gifts for grandkids.

We went here on the 3rd of July. It seemed to be a nice museum (we spent most of it at the 1890 town) and a good place for kids to learn about the history of the area. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and seeing the old buildings (blacksmith, hat maker, post office, general store, school, etc.) But the boardwalks and gravel roads are tricky with a wheelchair. And dont expect to use the bathrooms unless the disabled person can get out of the chair, as every bathroom was much too small.
