A must stop on the way to Tankwa national park. Very chatty lady in the shop which is jam packed with curiosities and almost anything you may want along with some very interesting local preserves. The barlady in the very quirky pub was equally as friendly and chatty about local area.

This is definitely like a watering hole where you could "saal af" after a long day in the saddle to be refreshed. The shop is well-stocked and the vibe is good. The Wi-Fi is a nice add-on, but I found that my phone kept on losing connection.

Here you can get guitar and violin strings, tongue scrapers, dagga pipes, teats for bottles to feed lambs, jam, rusks, mostly everything. Probably not a vehicle or property - but enquire.

A special place to get something to eat and drink in the shade on the porch when travelling throught the Tankwa. Spend some time browsing in the shop whilst waiting for your food. Make sure you chat to Hein before checking out the decor in the bar.

Such a welcome relief after hours of driving on the dusty transfer Tankwa highway.
Such great friendly service from all staff - not to forget the yummy food and thirst quenching Brandy & Coke
