“Hit the spot.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

We were hungry, the food was good and our server was friendly and very attentive.
The fresh fruit side was pineapple, melon and watermelon and was delicious.
The open faced turkey platter was very good.

“Good Food”

Good variety and quality of food choices here. The deserts are wonderful. Great service. Scooters coffee is pleasant addition.

“Nice quiet restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

If you are looking for a nice quiet restaurant to hold a conversation, you should look no further than Summer Kitchen Cafe. No loud music, no sports, just nice dining. Meals are excellent and the deserts are to die for.

“You Can't Miss the Bakery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2013

When my Sweetheart and I visit Bellevue this is where we go for breakfast. It is clean, well lit, comfortable, it has everything on the menu you'd normally expect, and a bakery at the entrance that never ceases to tempt us. The cinnamon rolls are gigantic. Just one could serve as a breakfast. The wait staff is friendly and responsive and the coffee is good. It's located just of Highway 75 and has plenty of parking.

“Food Quality Going Down Hill & Favorite Spot for Families w/Unruly Children”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Lived in Bellevue 30+ years and we've have been a regular since this location opened. Food is only average at best over the last couple of years. Often times it barely warm. The excuse from my server this past winter was that it sits next to the drive thru window of the attached drive thru coffee place. If that is true, how dumb is that during a Nebraska winter.

The worst part is the staff does nothing to handle unruly children of their patrons. I've asked to be seated away from tables with small kids but inevitably there's a shrieking child running amok in the place. This has happened the last 4 times we've eaten there. Makes no difference on the day of the week or the time of the day. This place has become a pricy Chuck E Cheese sans bad pizza and a ball pit. Definitely pricey for the ambiance experienced.

Their deserts are great though. The LaVista location is much better than the Bellevue one.
