From the moment we walked in the door to the smell of freshly baked cookies, we loved this B&B. Woody and Betsy's warm and gracious hospitality, creative and delicious gourmet breakfasts, and beautiful lodge helped make this our best vacation in over 30 years of traveling. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a northwoods theme but have all the modern amenities and comforts you could want. We appreciated the individual tables in the breakfast room- we're not fond of sitting at a communal table and having to make small talk with strangers first thing in the morning. Woody is a great source of advice on the best places to see in and around the park, including some off the beaten track spots. This is THE place to stay if you really want to treat yourself!

A fantastic B&B; Woody and Betsy were hosts who thought of everything. Gourmet breakfasts, wine and appetizers from 5-7pm, and delicious cookies and an espresso machine in the lobby. (Weak coffee is a pet peeve, and getting good coffee in most hotels and B&B's can be a challenge.) There were enough rooms and patronage to give the place the feel of a small inn. We used it as a base before traveling into and out of Glacier.

We stayed for 2 nights at Good Medicine Lodge to use as a base for visiting western Glacier NP after spending two days in the east of the park. From arrival to departure it just couldn't have been better. We were warmly welcomed by Woody who showed us around and was so welcoming that we immediately felt at home, helped somewhat by the freshly baked cookies and glass of wine offered!. The Lodge itself is very attractive and roomy with plenty of character. We stayed in the Great Northern Suite which was spacious, comfortable and had every amenity and had it's own private balcony looking out over the lovely garden and then on to a beautiful mountain view. Woody and Betsy take great care to ensure that everything is just right for their guests and we would wholeheartedly recommend the Good Medicine Lodge as a great B&B.

We stayed here two nights-everything was perfect. Their attention to every detail was terrific!! The breakfasts were delicious. The Happy Hour wine and food was a wonderful surprise! We sat in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and then had a giant homemade cookie-it was heaven! Very, very clean and quiet!! We really didn't want to leave so they invited us back for our last afternoon-so very gracious!! The only problem-I wish it was closer so that I could stay there every weekend!!!

Room Tip: all rooms are great-looking out at the garden-all are extremely quiet

Our stay was perfect. After many days of traveling and exploring National Parks in Wyoming and then Glacier in Montana, we wanted a place to stay for a few days for a different pace. The name of the lodge initially caught my attention and sure enough, it was "good medicine" for our R&R. The hosts and staff were very attentive to every detail to make our stay delightful in every way. The rooms are all unique and extremely comfortable & clean. There is a lovely patio area to rest and enjoy the gardens. In the early evening - a happy hour with beer, wine & appetizers. A delightful choice of wonderful homemade cookies is always available. Breakfast was prepared as I would expect from a fine dining chef. We highly recommend the Good Medicine Lodge. Thank you Woody & Betsy for everything you do to make your lodge such an enjoyable place to visit.
