Historical lodge atmosphere on the golf course with optional bar lounge. Went there to celebrate a birthday. We had the herb crusted chicken and the fish special-blackened orange ruffy smothered with a deliciuos crab sauce. For starters fresh hot sliced bread, a cold crispy salad. The main entry with a nice variety of sweet potatoes, whipped squash, and carrots. The ending finale was a surprise mud pie ice cream that was complimentary. We had a table by the fire place and the service outstanding. All made for a wonderful evening. Give the place a try when in Whitefish, Mt-in the summer play a round of golf.

“Great place”
Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

Our friends have a place here in Whitefish, ever time we get a chance to come we always head over to the golf course for dinner. I especially love their steak sandwiches, In the lounge. In the main dining area, is a great five star restaurant, and the outdoor patio after golfing is great beers and conversations with other golfers.

“A Don't Miss Place to Dine”

We live here and never miss a chance to eat here--or drink here after golf--or just hang out with friends. You won't find a better prime rib anywhere.

“Outstanding Steaks”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

Our foursome stopped in at Whitefish Lake Golf Restaurant to enjoy some good Montana steaks and we were not disappointed.

The interior decor was top notch, the service impeccable, and the food was the shining star.

We split an order of mussels for an appetizer. Being from the west coast, I'm always a little suspicious of shell fish this far away from the coast. However, the chef did not disappoint. They were steam perfectly.

Three of us had the 16oz. Ribeyes, while the lone wolf had the walleye. The cut of meat was excellent and cooked to perfection. The horseradish potato pancakes were a great accompaniment.

If you don't mind spending a bit of cash, this is a must stop restaurant in the Whitefish/Kalispell area.

“Fine Dining to be Experienced”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

We ate lunch at the Whitefish Lake Golf Restaurant a couple years ago and had a nice experience dining outdoors. More recently, we were taken here by a friend whose home is nearby. We all had prime rib. It was the best prime rib that I've had in several years. Our service was attentive but they allowed us to linger and it never seemed rushed. The salad was exceptional. The tomato may have been local. At least it tasted great. Not like those little red rubber balls that are used in some places.
