We spent four wonderful days and nights during the first week of August at the Garden Wall Inn. Innkeepers Rhonda and Chris provided warm hospitality, real concern about our comfort, and ensured that our time in Whitefish was well spent. Both are very knowledgeable about the area and Glacier National Park. The Inn is beautifully furnished, cared for, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were elegant and made from local ingredients. We had a wonderful time chatting with Rhonda and Chris in person during our stay. If we return to Whitefish, the Garden Wall Inn will be our first choice for accommodations. It's simply outstanding.

Every guidebook recommended this place and we were thoroughly pleased. Our room was good with a very comfortable king bed and a great bathroom with a clawtub. At night the staff puts chocolate candy on your pillow with a "Sweet Dreams" note. In the morning, thirty minutes before a gourmet breakfast that is superb, the staff brings a tray of coffee or tea plus a rose to your room. They have an absolutely beautiful garden in back. We only stayed two nights and wished we had planned for more. The only drawback is that it is might on a busy stree so you do have the traffic noise but it is such a delightful place that this can be overlooked. The staff are wonderful friendly people who greet you each night at 5 p.m. with drinks and appetizers. Superb!

My only regret is that I was only able to stay at the Garden Wall Inn 1 night and not many (cause it was booked!) So quaint, clean and lovely. Happy hour, breakfast tray at your door in the morning with tea or coffee, bed turned down with chocolate, AMAZING breakfast and Chris was just the best host. (As a Whitefish native, he'll guide you to anything and everything you want to do in Montana. The only other place that was comparable to this is the Good Medicine Lodge (and they both recommend each other when full).

Room Tip: Book early- you don't want to miss this place.

My husband and I recently spent 8 nights at the Garden Wall Inn and it was perfect! The other reviews are right on the money. Chris and Rhonda were the perfect hosts and could not do enough to make our stay great. They gave us expert advice on Glacier National Park and steered us in the right direction for each of our day hikes. They know the park inside and out and gave us excellent tips based on what we wanted to do. The rooms at the Inn are beautiful and immaculately kept. We loved waking up each morning to a tray of coffee brought to our room and coming back each evening to our bed turned down and chocolates on our pillow. The breakfasts were scrumptious, each day better than the next. Chris also gave us some excellent suggestions for dinner and even called to make reservations for us. The Inn is in the perfect location. We drove to the park each day for our hikes and walked into town in the evening for dinner. This is a true gem and our best bed and breakfast experience yet!!

Chris and Rhonda are wonderful hosts. Chris made several phone calls to assist my husband in locating archery equipment. The food was phenomenal and the rooms were so welcoming. Fresh flowers at bedside, chocolate with turn down service and coffee brought to the room before breakfast. The garden reflected their careful attention to every detail.

Great place! Just to reaffirm prior reviews, you will not be disappointed. It is 2 blocks from downtown and close enough to Glacier Nat. Park to make it the place to stay. Chris and Rhonda know the area and the Park and are anxious to give you good suggestions as well as bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. Cordon Bleu Chef Rhonda makes breakfast an always remembered event. You will love it.

Room Tip: We had the room with twin beds and sizable bathroom
