“Snack Bar by Day, Mexican Cantina by Night”
Review of Quickee's - CLOSED

Quickee's
Price range: $0 - $20
Cuisines: British
Description: Quickee has consistently been voted the Best Sandwich Shop in Whitefish for seven years in a row. We have moved to a new trendy location and put on a totally new dinner menu. We are now located on the corner of Lupfer Avenue and Second Street, still in the historic railway district of Whitefish. Not only do we serve the best Breakfast Burritos and Deluxe Deli Sandwiches but at night the menu has changed to the best ‘Pub Fare’ in the Flathead Valley. We make Traditional British Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Steak & Ale Pie to name a few.We have worked hard to source as much of the menu as possible locally. All our beef is Flathead Valley reared, our Elk is from West Valley Drive just 7 miles from our restaurant. Our Pork is from Farm To Market Road just 10 miles from the restaurant. All six of our beers on tap are local Micro-brews from our town here in Whitefish and close by Lakeside, Bigfork and Missoula. Our fish is Alaskan from a local fish supplier and our produce supplied by a local produce depot. We have an excellent selection of personally selected wines and bottled beers from around the globe.Quickee is now housed in a cool and trendy restaurant, recently remodeled to provide a fresh clean ‘Wine Bar’ feel with excellent fresh made to order food. Come in and join us, after all “Every-one loves a Quickee”.

I love the Mexican specialties. Be aware, these are only served in the late afternoon and they are kind of "fast food", just really tasty. The subs and wraps are good for a quick lunch if you are there around noon. Good place to go if you are walking or biking the nature trail or visiting the museum at the historic train depot. Be aware that much of the seating is really rustic - outdoors on cafe chairs or under a tree at a picnic table behind the place. The name "Quickee's" may be a double-entendre as the trademark symbol is a running greyhound, but the cute little house that holds the restaurant and small dining area was alleged to have a brothel in earlier times. I bring my dog on summer days and sit outside on the porch. The staff always brings him a dish of water - but then he is a greyhound... Cute, Quirky, a hidden gem of a snack bar/cantina.

Love this restaurant! My favorite dish is their cajun tuna salad. I dream about it. It's that good. I also love their fish tacos made with fresh salsa. Great customer service. Seating indoors or outside. Yummy!

Stopped off at Quickies for Lunch Today, ordered the vege panini. The sandwich was soggy from so much garlic mayonaisse, not many veges mostly garlic and onions. Had to throw it out. $9.00 for it too, a bit over priced.

Very fresh with quality ingredients. Order from the menu (the muffaleta was nice) or build your own. Sit outside on the picnic benches and enjoy the beautiful weather.
