Description: Pescado Blanco: Mountain Mexican KitchenThe cuisine we are creating is not like the typical Mexican fare you may have had before. We gather our culinary style from a geographical region extending from Southern Mexico to Northern Montana developing a unique mountain Mexican fusion. All of our menu items are handmade from the fresh salsas to the hand-pressed tortillas. This restaurant is about using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and blending flavors and the cultures.

“Fun place”

Good Mexican food (I'm from S.Calif so I pretend to be knowledgeable about such things). Service was great for us, friendly, accommodating and prompt. The food was very good, including the elk and bison burritos.

However, the margaritas were pretty awful. One person thought they were made with Sprite.

It is a very low key experience but I'd certainly go back again -- and drink the beer.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Service was very friendly but didn't make up for the extremely slow service (waited over an hour for our food) which then ended up being just "ok" and almost cold. No explanation from the waiter only added to the poor rating. First time visit and never returning.

“Very unique and delicious Mexican food!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio. We had the salted beet salad, shrimp diablo with elk chorizo, as well as vegetable and chicken enchildas. The Mexican chocolate cake was to die for! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

“Amazing and entertaining!”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Our server Mitch was fantastic. We arrived late in the night so we were his last table. But he was still so accommodating and took excellent care of us. His recommendations were delicious. The pork tenderloin was to die for. This was my second time having dinner here and I will definitely be back every time I am in Whitefish.

“Creative and Delicious”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

This restaurant was recommended to us by the folks at Lakestream Outfitters after a day of fishing with Rob, our guide. The atmosphere is playful and casual, and the food was simply delicious. It's not typical Tex-Mex at all, but creatively and artfully crafted. We sat in the bar rather than wait for a table. Jim, the bartender was knowledgeable and very friendly. Upon ordering margaritas, he let us know that they were made with wine instead of tequila since Pescado Blanco doesn't have the license to serve hard liquor. He also gave us a taste to see if we liked it. I opted for a very delicious white Sangria made with mint and Pook had a glass or Argentine red. Very nice. We ordered cheese dip to eat with the complementary chips and salsa. Very nice, too! The tortilla soup was excellent with fresh avocado, tasty cilantro and chicken with a hint of lime. Pook ordered bison enchiladas and I ate the wild salmon special. Both dishes were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. We completely enjoyed this meal and will visit Pescado Blanco again when we return to fish near Glacier Park.
