“Nice hotel and excellent location.”
Reviewed September 5, 2009

This hotel was pretty decent. Close to everything and the upgraded rooms were a plus. The breakfast was okay but a different variey would be nice. If we ever head back to Yellowstone, we'll definitely head back to this place.

the two best things about this hotel? Wireless internet in the room and the location in the heart of downtown. The room was okay clean - kinda shabby at the edges for the discriminating eye. Bed was comfortable. Shower sprayed/leaked all over the floor. If I needed a room for the nite in WYellowstone again this might not be the first place I stay, but it wouldn't be the last.

My wife and I and two freinds stayed at the motel for five nights in early June. The first thing that struck us was the origin(s) of the desk staff: they were Eastern Europeans and/or Russians. With the high unemployment rates in the United States perhaps the motel's owners might rethink their hiring practices. Can nobody be found in Montana or Wyoming who needs a job? The staff was helpful but had limited knowledge of the area. The rooms were typical of relatively new Best Western motels in the U.S. Two queen size beds and the usual things one finds in a motel room. The breakfast was not very good and the surly man who seemed responsible for refilling the empty platters should be sent for a course at the closest charm school. With limited options around Yellowstone this motel was 'good enough' but nothing to write home about.

We stayed at the Best Western because we had been staying at different Best Westerns as we traveled through to Yellowstone from CA. This was the worst hotel we have come across. We got two rooms because we are traveling with three teenagers. My husband and my room had hair in the tub. The shower is in a very small room with a toilet only. The door just closes but you have to stand back.. There were children running up and down the halls until late at night. The worst part was the loud walking above us from early evening until early morning. The rooms have paper thin walls.

We tried to get an adjoining room but they couldn't accomodate us. So the next morning when my daughter went to turn on her water for a shower she got no hot water. She came to our room to shower while I called the front desk to ask if it could be fixed. Someone came to the room and said the shower noozle had been installed incorrectly. When you turned to hot you would get cold and if you wanted cold you would get hot. I thought this was very dangerous for someone with younger children.

At check out I told the front desk of the problem but they just looked at me because they only spoke a some English. I suggested they get it fixed ASAP so younger children don't get hurt. I suspect this has been a problem for a long time. Beware of room 206. Sadly, we left to go to McDonalds because breakfast was only served from 7-9am. Overall, not a hotel I would ever go back to.

"We stayed here for 2 nights in June. The room was very clean and had all the right amenities (microwave, mini-frig, coffee maker, cable TV, wireless internet). The room looked good and felt comfortable and was large. Clearly this is one of the newer hotels in town. We stayed in the room with 2 king beds. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was all the standard fare -- waffles, mini muffins, toast, juice, milk and cereals. But, the breakfast wasn't anything great, just free and gives you the ability to get out quickly onto the adventure of the day.

I stayed there with my daughter on a recent vacation to Yellowstone Park. Very pleased with the clean and spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about Yellowstone. Would recommend.
