My husband and I were cancelled out on a snow coach tour elsewhere and made a last minute reroute to West Yellowstone. Three Bear Lodge set us up in one quick phone call with a room and exactly the tour we wanted the following day. When we arrived, they confirmed our tour and ordered a deli luch for the next day and recommended local restaurants. The staff is very accommodating and efficient. Our room in the motel was very reasonably priced, but large and newly remodeled. Yellowstone Park is magnificent in winter and Three Bear Lodge is a great base camp from which to enjoy it.

We came up In October right before most places close down for season or switch over to winter/snowmobile season and enjoyed it completely. First let me just say if you don't want all the crowds of summer or the bitter cold of winter this is when to go. Now that is out of the way Three bear was great. The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. Our group took up three of them in all and none of us had a single complaint. Rooms and beds were nice and warm at night very comfy. Staff up front was very attentive and helpful. Location to the park is great and the connected restaurant was a great place to start your day off with a good breakfast. Walking distance to just about everything in town. We did stay in the renovated Lodge not the motel connected so can not say about those rooms but I can not believe there would be much difference. When we go back to visit Yellowstone this is where we will stay.

We had the vacation of a lifetime. The staff at Three Bear Lodge was so efficient and friendly. They went out of their way to accomodate any special request. Although all were excellent, Lisa and Jair, at the front desk went over and above any expectations. Our package included one dinner at the Three Bear Restaurant, and breakfast every morning. The food and service there was outstanding. Our package also included three days snowmobiling, one with a guide. It included all snowmobiling attire, gas everyday, one tour guide to Old Faithful, our guide was Mr. Smith. He provided an excellent tour with a lot of knowledge. We had a great time. We would recommend this lodge and restaurant to all of our family and friends. We look forward to another visit with our grand children in a few years.

We found Three Bears Lodge to be an awesome place, The staff was totally there to help us. Also loved how they incorporated everything they could from the original Lodge. Our room was clean( so was the bathroom ) and comfortable. Nice and roomy too.The restaurant which is right there was great with great service , We had a Prime rib dinner as part of our package it was awesome, and the breakfasts were great. Our snowcoach left from there we were fortunate enough to have Laurie Johnson as our guide. He made an awesome place even better!

My wife and I had stayed at 3 Bear Lodge before and decided to use them to plan our 5 day winter snowmobile trip. Once again they were excellent - from the staff, the accommodations and trips. We will be back again next winter.

We just returned from our winter vacation in West Yellowstone the last week of January 2013. We have been to W Yellowstone for 5 winters and stayed at other hotels and thought we'd try Three Bears Lodge this year. What a great experience we had. The management and staff are friendly and accomodating. Everything in our package was perfect. You can tell the owner of the lodge is not a huge corporation and appreciates their guests. We can't wait to return to Three Bears next winter. Thank you! Debbie G.

Room Tip: all the rooms are great and very well insulated from sound and the cold outside.
