If you are riding snowmobiles, this is a MUST stop. This family run bar is loads of fun for all adults...not muc of a kids place. They know how to have fun in this place.
Have not been here in the summer, but I'm sure you can have as much fun then as in the winter. Ask if you can get "honked". Great fun!

We worked in West Yellowstone this past summer and the Happy Hour was one of our regular stops. Their location on Lake Hebgon is outstanding to watch the sunset on the deck with a cold beverage. J, the barmaid made you feel like you had been a regular all your life. Not really a place for kids but a great place for drinks and food. This is the place you will tell your friends back home about!

My husband and I go here everytime we visit Yellowstone National Park. We love their garlic burgers! The service is always great and the view is incredible. It is a bar. But it's a great place to hang out for a beer and a burger! The prices are very reasonable and it's always more food than we can possibly eat. Great food! Great view of Hebgan Lake!

I'm not surprised by the poor reviews from families but when you go to a bar for dinner you should expect a bar environment - not Chucky Cheese. As locals we enjoy going here for drinks with friends and find the food to be better than your average bar food. As with any bar there are those who don't know when to quit drinking and when to quit hitting on the waitress but they are quite experienced from all of the tourists and locals and handle it very well. They are always very friendly and make us feel welcome. The bare breasted pictures on the wall should give you a clue what to expect. Those are pictures of the people who obviously enjoyed coming here- maybe a little too much. If you want fine dining and a family atmosphere you won't like this place, but if you want a place where you can have fun and enjoy watching the other folks have a good time, you can't go wrong.

My father and I were staying in the Hebgen Lake Mountain Inn condos across the street (which were lovely, by the way), and arrived too late to drive back into West Yellowstone for dinner, so we were afforded a ride across the road in a golf cart to try the Happy Hour Bar.

When we walked in, the first thing we noticed were the surplus of single men drinking, and the wash of photos of women's breasts and rear ends on the wall. Clearly, this is primarily a drinking establishment.

My father had the steak fingers with fries, and I had a salad, the quesadilla, and fries. Neither of us had alcoholic beverages, instead opting for water. The total bill came to more than $50!!

And while the server was friendly, we were subjected to hearing her skillfully deflect a rather steady stream of propositions from the two tables of single men who occupied the majority of the rest of the bar. She handled it well, but it wasn't great to listen to while trying to eat with your father! All the while, we were surrounding by walls of photographs of breasts, bottoms, and women's panties and bras stappled to the rafters.

All in all, the place felt sinister, the food was mediocre at best, and the prices were exhorbitant. Fine for a drinks with single mates, perhaps, but AVOID at all costs if you're not in that category. Couple that with insanely high prices for food, and I have to give the place a poor rating.
