Driving by what caught my GF's attention was the signs that said "hearty soups and salad bar". After a week in Yellowstone area and eating out all the time, we were looking for something homey.
The staff was friendly and our waitress took good care of us. We both started with a trip to the soup and salad bar which did have a homemade hearty beef noodle soup. The salad bar also had ample selections that met with our likes.
My GF ordered the Alfredo on penne with chicken. The portion was ample and came with a big slice of garlic bread. She felt that it had basic flavour and was ok.
I had the baked chicken, which seemed to be a signature dish. The chicken it self was good, but the side of carrots tasted like it had been steamed for hours and was mushy and tasteless. Overall it was an average meal.
The waitress was the highlight as she carried out her job we'll.
