This is called family restaurant, maybe this is the reason for huge portions.
The service is good and a salad bar is included in the portion price.
The salmon we have was a little anemic but the tariaky chicken was good.
The need bigger plates for the one trip to the salad bar.
Good place for families.

We had breakfast after leaving Yellowstone. Everything was good. Coffee was hot and good. Just eggs so it's hard to judge, what can you do to eggs. Not to say they weren't any good, because they were very good. Hot to the table. The best thing was our waitress. She was great, attentive without going over board. We would go again if in the area.

This is a really great restaurant in West Yellowstone. Everything my husband and I ordered was excellent. The portions were huge. We have eaten here in the past and will return in the future.

Ready to begin a long day of discovery in Yellowstone N.P., we headed in search of breakfast and came upon a slightly hidden Outpost Restaurant on 115 Yellowstone Avenue. Bleary-eyed, we were quickly greeted at the door, seated in a comfortable booth and supplied with our first coffee of the day. The prices are quite reasonable and the portions are more than generous. Watch out when ordering the stack of pancakes as these are grizzly sized portions. We all enjoyed what we ordered. In would definitely recommend for breakfast.

We had dinner at this restaurant in August. My husband and I both had hot turkey dinners ("comfort food") with mashed potatoes, gravy, etc. It was good. The gravy tasted like it may have been from a jar though. It is a good place to eat and is reasonably priced for the area.
