In our trip to YNP we stayed at Hi Country Tavern and Grill Cabins. We really didn't have the time to eat at the restaurant but I can say is big, well kept and has a "wow" view in the out back. It's located about 9 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone NP. There are 5 cabins and they are big and comfortable with 2 bdrooms,a small kitchen, one bathroom and a living room area to watch tv. Our cabin was nice and the view from Hedgen Lake was the best.Unfortunately we had to live one day before planned and the money from that night was refunded to my account by the owner Amy. I can say she is very nice, flexible and listens to your needs. Thanks Amy!I recommend this place for the comfort, price and incomparable sunset view.

Stopped in on our way back from fishing the Madison. It has a great view over the lake and mountains. Service was friendly. If you are getting a burger or steak you will be grilling it yourself. personal pan pizzas are $5. You can also eat free popcorn as you wait. Great place to full the belly before the drive back to Big Sky.

This place is a blast.
Order, have a drink, and wait for everything to be provided for you except you get the control of cooking your own meat! Perfect for me who like an EXACTLY medium steak!
Also, the view out back is phenomenal.

We stopped at Hi Country in February while snowmobiling the Big Sky Trail. We had been here when it was Einos. Enjoyed our burger and drink. We found the staff very accommodating and would return again.

T-bone & prime rib was nothing but fat. Salad was not fresh. Food sat out too long. Cheesy potatoes were extremely salty. Staff was not responsive to commemts. Not worth the money
