“Good elk burger!”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

The Slippery Otter is one of the bigger places you can eat and drink in West Yellowstone. The menu is American but with a few interesting dishes - elk and bison burger! The service was good enough and the drinks were nice. If you're into ale, try the Moose Drool! Pretty standard prices and a nice atmosphere inside. Would go back.

“Great beers”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Great place to try out the local beers. We did not eat here. The bar tender was more than friendly and was willing to share some ideas of the area.

“Next time I will stick to the beer”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We wanted to check out the local beers and were advised to eat at this restaurant. Menu was mostly burgers and pizza. We ordered the chicken garlic goat cheese pizza. Way too much raw and burnt garlic. We are suffering today and we are not ones to hide from garlic. Beer was OK and service good

“Good beer and pizza”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

This place had a lot of nice beers on tap. I enjoyed a number of beers I can't get in KC. I also had a specialty pizza that was very good as well.

The bartender made good recommendations as to the beers and pizza.

I enjoyed my time there.

“Late night beer and pizza”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

We arrived in West Yellowstone much later than our expected time. Thank goodness the Slippery Otter was still open. I don't know if it is because we were so hungry but the pizza and beer was so delicious! There beer selection is incredible!
