“Well worth the visit”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

We took our two granddaughters and stayed the entire day. The activities are great. The feeding times for the wolves and bears are not to be missed. The attractions explain in depth about the animals, the region, and history. It is a fun, educational experience.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

Very interesting. I was talking to one of the people there about the bears. Specifically there was a bear that was trying to open a large blue trash can marked "Bear Safe". Come to find out the Center is the only place in the nation that actually tests bear proof containers. They give the bear the item for 60 minutes and if they can't get into it, it passes. If they get into it, it fails. They put food in it and the bear jumps, bounces and chews until the thing opens and he gets the reward. Very entertaining.

Very interesting opportunity to get an up-close look at bears and wolves. The gift shop was nice, and it seemed like the entrance fee goes toward a noble cause.

“Very interesting!”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Very nice exhibit, very well done, good presentation of information about the animals. 6-8 grizzlies, that are displayed at various times in the large viewing area. 7 wolves in three separate viewing areas. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable with lots of information about the history of the animals and how and why they came to be at the center.
