After a horrid surprise at another hotel in town, we needed to find rooms for 3 nights "now". Most everything was booked and most hotels in the area were more expensive. Mike was able to get us our rooms. Nice hotel, we thought it was new but found out it was recently renovated. Nice folks, nice room, nicer than most Super 8 locations (we stay at many of them). We thought the location was in town, but found out it is 7 miles west. Not ideal at first but we liked the beautiful surroundings and the porch was great to sit on at night. Nice general store and laundry facilities just out the back door. Rooms were clean and the renovation is very nice, very north woods. If you stay here you *must* go to the Bar N Ranch to eat, just a mile down the road, it's fantastic!

We had a very bad experience with this motel. Before making your reservation, please be aware:

1. If you book through a third party website, your reservation is probably non-cancellable, non-changeable and non-refundable due to a "huge" discount (i.e. $159-->$141) given, as described by the owner, and they will never let you go. They will tell you all relevant terms were included on the page where you click "I agree".

2. Only the first 50 (or less) customers get wireless connection. If you ask them to reset the router so that the people who do need internet can connect, they would tell you in a rude manner "that is impossible".

3. If you wish to talk to someone to complain about any service there, Mike, the owner, would assure you that he is the top man to talk to with no one above. Loud and clear.

We ended up "being banned from super 8 forever" for complaining about hotel wireless connection and were kicked out of the place, with a full refund. Surprise! In the end it is still cancellable!

This hotel was fantastic. Great breakfast. Great rooms. Great staff. The only downside was the price. For such a premium I at least expected a fridge or some other ammenities in the room. No elevator either. Great view of the mountains!!

This hotel is about 7miles outside of West Yellowstone. They charged $140 for ONE night. They do not have a pool, or a computer with internet. They did have a continental breakfast in the morning but it consisted of cold cereal, English muffins, coffee and juice. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and nothing else and dont mind the price then I guess this would be fine. I dont think it was worth the price we paid.

Great room, it had just been renovated and was very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and informative. Breakfast was ok, biscuts and gravy would have been great.
