“Suprised!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We tracked this bistro down after three recommendations in a row from local business owners. It is a little hard to find but just remember to look for the huge Dairy Queen sign on Canyon St. It is located to the left hand side of the DQ sign. Also I recommend making reservations as it is a small bistro with under ten tables. The service and wine were great. If you love the usual bistro atmosphere and music then you will not be disappointed. I had ribeye steak two of my friends had the elk and the other tried the quail. Non of us were disappointed. The ribeye was a perfect medium just as I requested. the elk a very tasty a perfect medium rare and the gravy on the quail was bar none. I am giving 5 stars because you simply can not find food and service like this any longer in west Yellowstone. We even obtained some great fishing advice and locations from the chef when we asked to speak to him regarding the fantastic meal. The whole package is a must not miss. We will be returning.

“Nice Place!”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We came here for dinner due to the good recommendations and were not disappointed. The place is very nice, a tiny, but comfortable room. A typical french bistro with corresponding style and music and a good atmosphere. The food was fresh and good (we had soup and pasta). The staff was quick and friendly, but a little bit over-attentive. Unfortunately they do not serve cappuccino or espresso.

“A rarity this far in the woods”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

A very nice "big city-style" bistro/upscale restaurant in West Yellowstone. The food is very nice - just a very slight step below what you can get in NYC, but still a great alternative to Dairy Queen! The prices are in line with the quality and type of food they serve. The restaurant is small, so you might want to reserve or go later/earlier if you are in West Yellowstone in high season. The only downside was their mixed drinks - which were made with cheap pre-made mixers. Stick with the wine.

“Ladylike salad and steak for the gentleman”
Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

Photo of the ladylike salad drew us in. Enjoyed the pecan pear feta garden salad. The gents enjoyed the ribeye cooked precisely med well as ordered. A bit on the high end on the salad plate and bruscetta appy but all were savory and best quality. Ribeye platter was a good value. Swiftly prepared and served. Good regional beer.

“What a great little place”
Reviewed May 17, 2013 via mobile

Serenity bistro is a hidden gem in West Yellowstone. From the outside it looks like any old diner and the inside is a little outdated, but the food is superb! We had the trout and it was deliciously cooked and seasoned. Wine selection is good, nust a pitty Montana-law does not allo tou to take the remaining bottle home.
