“Great people- average ride.”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

Perhaps some of this review is influenced by the fact that there was a wild fire in Idaho that made for a very foggy/ashy day that detracted from the beautiful views, but we had an average time. Our trail guide was super sweet and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we were in a group with about 8 people total, so if you weren't right near the guide, you didn't hear anything. The ride was incredibly slow and bumpy (through a rooty, hilly forest), and only opened up to a beautiful, mountain-view landscape about 3/4 of the way through. My horse happened to be a trouble-maker towards the other horses, so he made me nervous several times on the ride. The ranch itself is beautiful, and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and generous.

“Nice experience with our granddaughter”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

My husband found "The Diamond P Ranch" and liked the price. Other horseback rides in the park cost a bit more.
Glad we selected this because the people who run the Diamond P were friendly and nice.

“A must-do for any visitor!”
Reviewed September 15, 2012 via mobile

We booked a last-minute ride (2 hours prior!) and are so happy we saw the brochure! The whole staff was so pleasant and accommodating. And our guide, Charles, was absolutely perfect! He was very helpful with great tips and stories about the area. We felt completely comfortable even knowing we were in "bear country". The views were gorgeous and the horses are so well-mannered. We can't wait to visit again!

“awesome!”

great guides, great horses, awesome scenery. This was the least expensive we found in the area, half day was plenty of time to enjoy the area. We will definitely do this again when we come back. Loved it!

“A Real Horseback Riding Experience”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

This was a real ride, up a mountain, not always on trails and just wonderful. The guides were so helpful, especially because I am clueless about horses, but this is the first time I've ever felt like I wasn't a dumb tourist being scammed. A great experience and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
