Perhaps some of this review is influenced by the fact that there was a wild fire in Idaho that made for a very foggy/ashy day that detracted from the beautiful views, but we had an average time. Our trail guide was super sweet and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we were in a group with about 8 people total, so if you weren't right near the guide, you didn't hear anything. The ride was incredibly slow and bumpy (through a rooty, hilly forest), and only opened up to a beautiful, mountain-view landscape about 3/4 of the way through. My horse happened to be a trouble-maker towards the other horses, so he made me nervous several times on the ride. The ranch itself is beautiful, and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and generous.
